Hi! I'm Theresa, and I am a professional organizer & fiber artist. I call myself a minimalist and my passion is to help people declutter distractions, organize and plan for more clarity & focus in life.
Dedicated to repurposing
I'm also a dedicated crafter and a crafts instructor, and I lead workshops in different crafts techniques. My passion for crafts suits well with my minimalistic thinking and the passion for a simple life. I can't think of something more cozy than to curl up in a sunbathing chair with a knitting or embroidery project. But I'm also paaionate about recycling and repurposing and I love coming up with new solutions and DIY projects.
Cottage living and off grid
In 2024 me and my husband bought a cottage. We're planning on moving there and live a simple life off grid, with gardening and house projects alongside our work.
Here are some examples of what I can do for you:
- Smaller projects like the closet, the garage, storage or the office.
- Organizing your digital life, for example: email, files, calendar, time management etc.
- Minimalistic makeover: We will go through every item in your home, declutter and organize. I will help you with coaching towards becoming a minimalist.
Decluttering and organizing has always been a part of my life.
Since I was a little child I've always loved to try and figure out how to best fit different items into a variety of containers, jars and baskets.
We moved a lot when I was a little child. I always felt the excitement to come to a new home and start to put together a new system for the conditions of the new place!
I've also always been super good at packing. Whether it's organizing and packing for a move or packing and organizing a grocery bag. I pack according to the "Tetris method", that is to see to it that everything is as efficiently packed as possible and no "bad air" is there.
An organized mind.
Organizing is more than having getting everything neat and tidy. My experience (both in my own life and when I'm helping my clients) is that the mess you have in your brain is the root cause of the mess around you.
When you declutter old stuff, the mental load is getting lighter as well. This will result in clearer thinking, better focus and the feeling that you can breathe a bit easier.
MInimalism & Simple living: the joy of simplicity.
I call myself a minimalist and I love the minimalistic philosophy. The point is to think quality over quantity, intentional consumption, and always check what you can declutter to free up time, space and energy.
The course The Capsule Wardrobe
According to a Swedish survey, clothing is the biggest problem Swedes have when it comes to decluttering. I wanted to help with that, and that's why I created the online course The Capsule Wardrobe.
During the course you will get guidance on how to effectively declutter, sort and organize the clothes in your wardrobe. Completely in your own pace. I will provide systems so that you easily can find every item in your wardrobe, and never have to think about what outfit to wear.
