Terms of agreement
SBPO's ethical guidelines
Theresa Widjeskog Ahlman, professional organizer (from now on referred to as the "organizer") follows SBPO's (Swedish Industry Association for Productivity and Organization) ethical guidelines.
The Client's confidentiality
The organizer keeps all personal information about the client and information regarding the assignment confidential. The organizer will keep the information confidential even after the end of the assignment.
Assignment booking
An assignment always begins with a consultation (free of charge) where the client can express their wishes and goals for the assignment. The consultation takes place over the phone or video call. After the initial consultation, the organizer creates a proposal for an action plan as well as time and price estimates for the project.
The client can then book one or more sessions for sorting, decluttering and organizing a space.
A hands-on session is 3 hours and the cost is SEK 3600 / session excluding VAT.
Coaching is booked per hour and the price is then SEK 1,200 excluding VAT.

The client can book sessions for decluttering and organizing a space or virtual coaching sessions.
Payment
Payment is made in full per invoice after the assignment has been completed.
For larger assignments, the organizer reserves the right get an advance payment of half of the estimated total price. This amount is then deducted from the final invoice.
Storing and organizing containers
If the client wishes, the organizer can provide a list of suitable containers, storage solutions etc to store the client's items in a beneficial way. The organizer then provides links via email to suggest places of purchase. Purchases are only made in consultation with the client, and nothing is purchased without the client's consent and approval of the cost of the purchase.
The cost of any storage solutions is charged to the customer and specified on the final invoice.
Disposal and donation
Removal and disposal of decluttered objects is not included in the regular price, but can be added as an extra service. The extra cost is specified on the invoice.
Policy regarding canceled or rescheduled sessions
The customer can cancel or reschedule a session within 48 hours before the scheduled session. If cancellation occurs later than 48 hours, the customer is required to pay a fee corresponding to 50% of the session's price.
Budget for the project
During the initial consultation, the client is asked about the planned budget for the project. This is so that the organizer can estimate the amount of work that can be done within the framework of the budget and can more easily provide an action plan that is as accurate as possible.
Budget for products
Before the start of the assignment, the organizer and the client agree on a budget for the purchase of containers and storage systems. The organizer can recommend products and services to meet the client's needs for organization and maintaining systems for organization. The organizer is not responsible for the quality of recommended products and services. The organizer stays within the framework of the agreed budget when recommending products and services.
Before and after photos
Professional organizers often take before and after-pictures for marketing and training purposes.
All photos are anonymous. The client must give their consent to photography and the publication of images and film material.
